First Series will distribute BioPCM®-based Apollo™ Panels manufactured by PCS, to eliminate medicine waste and lower the carbon footprint of the healthcare industry. In addition to reducing waste, the Apollo™ Panels also reduce energy consumption in refrigerators. Details of the Apollo™ Panel’s performance are available in the Health Innovation East report highlighting trials completed in August 2023.
The Apollo™ Panel provides up to 7 additional hours of temperature protection during power outages and/or mechanical failures. In addition, using Apollo™ Panels reduces maintenance on refrigeration equipment while increasing product life cycle. GP practices can procure the Apollo™ Panels through Williams Medical’s website, the exclusive distributor for Apollo™ Panels in the UK.
